Place:
This view is of the northern most of two otter ponds on the eastern end of Swan's Island, Maine. These fresh water ponds are separated from each other by a narrow strip of woodland, and from the Atlantic Ocean by an even narrower seawall made up of tons of beautifully smooth stones, most no bigger than your fist.

This was shot with a canon g2 camera in a single-row setup
and covers a 180 degree arc going west to east @ 3:30 in the afternoon.
